The Roths have a long established pottery studio in rural Washington on a stretch of land fondly called “The Grand Prairie”. A family who run their century old working farm, have also long since repurposed chicken houses into pottery studios.
Folk have been coming to the Roths Grand Prairie Designs Studio for pottery and art showings for years. Traditional hand painted signs by Kelly Cowan that were decades old and had stood the test of time beautifully until one too many winter storms.
I was honored to create replacement signs for wonderful people who value traditional arts and work so hard creating beautiful functional pottery.
